Our Mission
At The Amazing Grace School of Etiquette, we believe that etiquette and good manners are essential components of a civilized society. By promoting kindness, thoughtfulness, and mutual respect, we create an environment where professional and personal relationships can thrive. Our philosophy is rooted in the conviction that everyone, regardless of their background, nationality, age, profession, or education, can master the rules of modern etiquette.
Our Story
The Amazing Grace School of Etiquette was born out of a personal journey of transformation. In 2005, while working as a Customer Consultant at Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe, our founder Grace Machonisa attended her first etiquette coaching session. It was more than lessons on table manners or professional attire, it was about confidence, self-awareness, and the art of building meaningful relationships.
That experience ignited a spark. Grace began to notice how simple courtesies—like a genuine smile, active listening, and respectful communication could brighten someone’s day and strengthen connections. By practicing these principles with her team and clients, she saw remarkable results: motivated colleagues, stronger customer relationships, and consistent excellence in service.
In 2009, this commitment to hospitality and professionalism was recognized when she received the prestigious “Beyond Excellency” Award from Stanbic Bank.Her journey continued at Sondelani Ranching t/a Hamara in 2020, where she supported regional programs that touched thousands of lives and businesses. The more she shared her knowledge with friends, family, and colleagues, the clearer her calling became. Helping others build confidence, communicate with ease, and thrive in social and professional spaces brought her immense fulfilment.
Through these experiences, Grace came to understand that etiquette is not about pretence, it is about authenticity, empathy, and consideration for others. Over the years, she has witnessed individuals blossom into confident, charismatic people capable of making lasting impressions.
That first encounter with etiquette coaching set Grace on a lifelong path of empowerment. Today, through The Amazing Grace School of Etiquette, she continues to pay that experience forward, creating a ripple effect of kindness, confidence, and grace.
